Pervaiz Rashid accuses opposition parties of supporting PIA workers’ protest
LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has on Thursday while declaring opposition parties behind the protest of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said that efforts are underway to resolve the issue.
Talking to media after inaugurating Book fair in Lahore on Thursday, Pervaiz Rashid said that perpetrators who killed PIA workers in Karachi would be brought to justice.
He said that the government cannot bear the loss of Rs 600 billion, however, other airlines are being contacted to make arrangements for the stranded passengers.
Commenting on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, the minister said that COAS Gen Raheel Sharif has done his duties under constitutional limits.
