PIA flight attendant held for possessing narcotics in Paris
PARIS (92 News) – A flight attendant of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was detained in Paris on Saturday after he was found in possession of narcotics.
French authorities detained flight attendant Tanveer Gulzar on board flight PK-749.
A spokesperson for the PIA said the crew member had been suspended from service. He said that the airline would dismiss him if charges against him were established.
In May 2017, 20 kg drugs were seized from a London-bound PIA flight. The drugs were spotted by a PIA vigilance team.
