PIA to acquire five new aircraft from Ireland

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that the Pakistan International Airlines will acquire five aircraft from Ireland on lease.

Speaking on the floor of the House on Wednesday, he said that two of the five aircraft have already been delivered to PIA while remaining three are expected to be delivered soon. “These aircraft are being operated on different domestic routes,” he said.

To another question, he informed the House that the eighty-two percent work on new Islamabad airport has been completed and remaining will be is expected to complete by next year.
