PIA workers’ countrywide protest enters third day

LAHORE/KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) workers have on Thursday continued their strike for the third consecutive day to condemn privatization of the national airline.

More than 95 percent of the PIA’s employees are protesting against the privatization, while the ticket centers and other offices are completely closed due to which the national airline is facing loss.

Seniors Staff association senior vice president Muhammad Rashid said that they strongly reject government’s decision to privatize the airline, however, the company would face loss due to protest.
