The Sargodha-based spiritual leader further asked the participants to take a vow to follow the footsteps of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), adding that the Almighty grants them the strength to spread the movement to all parts of Pakistan and beyond.

Earlier, thousands of people from across the country reached Lahore and participated in the conference.

The Pir of Sial Sharif had postponed the January 13 visit to Data Darbar in the wake of the Kasur and Sargodha incidents.

The Sargodha-based spiritual leader has been demanding the resignation of the provincial law minister over his controversial remarks about religious minority Ahmedi community with regard to Khatm-e-Nabuwwat. He said the protestors would stay at Data Darbar till Rana Sanaullah resigns.
