PM approves abolition of Ministry of CADD, says Fawad Ch
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the prices of power and gas are not being increased.
Addressing a press conference after the federal cabinet meeting on Thursday, he said that no tax is being imposed on the salaried class.
He said that 34,460 kanal of land has been pointed, which will be used for commercial purposes.
The minister said that the cabinet had decided to abolish the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), which has been placed under the Interior Ministry.
He informed the media that the cabinet had appreciated Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar for starting the Dams Fund. “The previous government had not provided gas to plants for the production of fertilizer,” he said.
Fawad Ch said that the cabinet had approved to establish the Ministry of Health Services. Moreover, the meeting appointed Sharif Haroon as Chairman of Board of Investment. Arshad Khan has been appointed as Chairman of PTV Board of Directors.
