KARACHI (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan arrived in Karachi for a one-day visit on Monday.

The Prime Minister’s Office earlier tweeted that the prime minister will visit Karachi for a day to meet a delegation comprising businessmen.

 

The prime minister will take part in a fundraiser event for the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital as well. He will also distribute cheques for the Kamiyab Jawan Programme.

The premier will be briefed about the ongoing development projects in the metropolis.

The first formal meeting between PM Khan and Pir Pagara has been scheduled. The prime minister will arrive in Karachi on a day long visit tomorrow. PM Khan is scheduled to meet Pir Pagara at Kingri House.

It is pertinent to mention here that no meeting was held between PM Khan and Pir Pagara from the day of coalition with Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) till now. They will discuss the current political situation of the province in the meeting.

It was also reported that indh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Governor Imran Ismail will receive the prime minister at the airport. Imran Khan will hold separate meeting with Murad Ali Shah.

The prime minister will hold a meeting with the businessmen of Karachi and the fund raising programme for Shaukat Khanum Hospital.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday will distribute distribute cheques among beneficiaries of subsidised business loans under his government’s Kamyab Jawan Programme – Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme – during his day-long official visit to Karachi.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, federal ministers and a large number of youths selected under the loan programme have been invited to attend a ceremony scheduled to be held at the Governor House.
