PM, COAS attend 21-nation military exercises in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH (92 News) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif attended the 21-nation military exercises at King Khalid Military City, Saudi Arabia, on Friday.

Khadim-e-Haramain Al-Sharifain King Salman bin Abdul Aziz was also present.

The Pakistani SSG Commandoes performed free fall in the parade.

Pakistan was the only country whose fighter aircraft performed aerobatics. These included performance by two JF-17 Thunder Aircraft and the famous Sherdil formation with its eight Karakoram-8 aircraft.

Later, the prime minister visited the Roza-e-Rasool (SAW) and offered ‘Nawafil’ in Masjid-e-Nabvi.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi also accompanied him.

He will leave for Pakistan after the Fajr prayers.
