PM for body to probe allegation of money laundering to India against Nawaz
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has expressed his indignation at the NAB allegation of money laundering to India against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and suggested to constitute a parliamentary committee to probe the matter.
Speaking in the National Assembly on Wednesday, he said that the committee should summon the chairman and other NAB officials of and seek evidence and relevant record from them in support of their allegations.
He said that these are very serious allegations which have brought bad name to the country.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also urged the opposition to consider bringing amendments to the Accountability Law. He said the political parties had already agreed to these amendments and further debate or a meeting will be held to move forward the process.
He termed that the allegations as pre-poll rigging.
