PM Imran Khan declares e-governance inevitable for good rule
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that e-governance is inevitable for the good rule.
Addressing a ceremony of the Digital Pakistan project on Thursday, he said that the government is working on Digital Pakistan, but departments were resisting to e-governance.
He claimed that the government has controlled the current deficit. “People should not worry as the future of Pakistan is bright,” he said.
The prime minister said that the corruption always starts from top. “A digital App is being formed to facilitate tourists. Facilities are being provided to non-Muslim to promote religious tourism,” he said.
He also directed all departments to improve links for tourism at the federal and provincial levels.
Imran Khan said that foreign investors have expressed interest to invest in the tourism sector. “Switzerland, Turkey and Malaysia get big revenue from tourism. Tourism provides employment opportunities and improve economy,” he said.
He said that steps are being taken to discover tourist places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
