PM Imran Khan pays surprise visit to Sargodha, Khushab hospitals
SARGODHA/KHUSHAB/TALAGANG (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan paid a surprise visit to Sargodha and Khushab District Headquarters Hospitals on Saturday.
The prime minister inspected the facilities being provided to patients by the hospital administration.
He also interacted with the attendants, listened to their grievances and inquired about the quality of the healthcare. However, he expressed his indignation at poor arrangements in hospitals.
He expressed concerns over the overload of the patients at the hospital as the facility catered to the patients coming from nearby areas including Bhera, Khushab, Mianwali and Pind Dadan Khan. He also sought suggestions about the possibilities to expand the facility.
Later, he visited District Headquarters Hospital in Khushab and asked the hospital administration about the load of the patients besides inquiring after the health of the patients.
The prime minister also visited the Talagang City police station and checked the record. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he wants the police stations should be protection for the people. “Fear among the people about the police stations should come to an end. Such police station culture should be introduced in Naya Pakistan,” he said.
The PM spokesman said that the prime minister would inspect hospitals, police stations, schools and shelter homes and development projects.
The objective was to show compassion to the people and have a direct check on the administration and the standard of the services being provided to the masses.
The people lauded the prime minister’s initiative and chanted slogans of ‘Long Live Imran Khan’ and also shook hands with him.
