LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said premier Imran Khan wants Pakistan a state that should take responsibility of protecting the citizens and their welfare.

She said the new state envisioned by Imran Khan should safeguard the rights of the people of Pakistan instead of protecting the rulers’ interests.

“The Pakistan Housing project is a visible practical step towards getting the people owning their own roof for living,” Dr Fridous said in a tweet.

She said the project is a new hope and trust the weak segment of society and working class could’ve on the government.

The housing scheme is also an important step towards the establishment of new and bright Pakistan and welfare-oriented state, Firdous further tweeted.
