PM Nawaz Sharif, Modi likely to meet in Washington
NEW DELHI (92 News) – After an impromptu visit Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made to Pakistan to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif, reports suggest that their next meeting might be in the US capital, Washington.
US President Barack Obama has invited both prime ministers for the Nuclear Security Summit on March 31 and April 1, 2016. Though no formal announcements have been made, it is almost certain that both Modi and Sharif will be attending it.
On Friday, Indian PM Narendra Modi paid a surprise visit to Pakistan and held a brief meeting with his counterpart Nawaz Sharif in Lahore.
