PM Nawaz, COAS Bajwa condemn Lahore blast
LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa have strongly condemned the blast outside Punjab Assembly in Lahore.
Both the leaders expressed grief over the loss of lives in the blast and extended sympathies to the families of the victims.
COAS General Bajwa has directed to unveil the terrorist elements involved in the blast. He has directed the officials of Pak Army to take part in the rescue activities. He also directed the intelligence agencies to play their part to arrest the accused involved in the blast.
At least ten people were killed while over 58 people were reportedly injured in the blast near Charing Cross, Mall Road on Wednesday. The blast occurred when a protest demonstration against Drug Act Amendment was underway at Mall Road.
