PM Nawaz elected PML-N’s president unopposed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been elected unopposed as the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The nomination papers of Sardar Abdul Qadir Baloch for the party’s president were rejected after which the prime minister was elected party’s president unopposed.

Pervaiz Rashid has been elected unopposed as the Finance Secretary, Mushahidullah Information Secretary and Ahsan Iqbal Deputy Secretary General of the party.

Others who have been elected unopposed in the intra party elections being held in Islamabad on Tuesday are Raja Zafarul Haq as Chairman and Sartaj Aziz, Sir Anjaam Khan, Sikandar Hayat, Changez Mari, Imdad Hussain Chandio, Yaqoub Nasir as the senior vice presidents of the party.


On the other hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri felicitated PM Nawaz Sharif on the being elected party’s president.
