PM Nawaz returns after two-day trip to Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan ends
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday left from Bishkek after concluding his two-day long official visit to Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
During the visit, the prime minister held meetings with the leadership of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, reiterating the resolve to peace and harmony in the region. Also, the topic of a possible gas pipeline connecting Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India came under discussion.
Different agreements and Memoranda of Understanding were also signed during the visit. The Premier also paid tribute at the Victory Square in Bishkek.
