PM Nawaz Sharif assures necessary steps to prevent floods in future, announces Rs 30 million aid for affectees of Isakhel

MIANWALI (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured to take necessary steps to prevent floods in future and announced Rs 30 million aid for the flood affectees.

Addressing the flood affected people in Isakhel on Saturday, Nawaz Sharif said that that more dams will be built to save the population from the devastation of floods.

He said that once the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor completed, the people the area will also be benefitted.

The prime minister said that there is no substitute for human life but the compensation will help to some extent.

Nawaz Sharif also announced aid of Rs 20 million for the water projects in Isakhel.

He directed the directed WAPDA authorities to put an end to prolonged power outages in the area.

Sharif said that the government was determined to provide employment and bring prosperity to people.
