People mounting container don’t want prosperity, says PM Nawaz Sharif
SIALKOT (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of Lahore-Sialkot Motorway on Monday.
The 89km road will be completed in two years. The project will be completed at a cost of Rs 43.85 billion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that today was a special day in the history of Sialkot. “Sialkot will be linked to the entire country through the Motorway.”
He said that Daska-Pasrur Road would be constructed at all costs. “The darkness of disappointment is vanishing.”
The prime minister said that the people mounting the container wanted to hamper progress. “Some people do not want an end to poverty and start of prosperity.”
He said that loadshedding would be ended till 2018. “Roads are being constructed from Khunjrab to Karachi. In 2013, protests were being staged and now the situation is before you,” he said.
Nawaz Sharif said that the Motorway project would usher in progress. “Our container is the container of progress and prosperity. Pakistani youth want to see progress and prosperity,” he added.
He said that the people had rejected the politics of quarrel. “We salute Army, police and security agencies.”
The prime minister said that they would end terrorism forever. “The CPEC in collaboration with China will be completed soon. The PIA Premier Service will be launched from Sialkot as well,” he added.
