PM Nawaz Sharif rejects increase in petrol prices

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday rejected the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) summary to increase petrol price.

Addressing the launching ceremony of Prime Minister’s National Health Insurance Program in Islamabad on Thursday, Nawaz Sharif said that Petrol prices will remain unchanged in the month of January.

Earlier, the OGRA had recommended an increase in Petrol price by Rs 2.17 per liter and suggested the prices of other petroleum products be slashed.
