PM Nawaz Sharif to meet Indian counterpart in Turkmenistan tomorrow
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will on Tuesday (tomorrow) meet his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in Turkmenistan.
Sources said that the prime minister will leave for his visit to Turkmenistan on a two-day official visit, where the prime minister will attend International Conference being held in Ashgabat to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality. A number of Heads of States and Governments will attend the Conference.
The prime minister will meet Indian premier Narendra Modi.
“The decision of meeting between the heads of arch rivals was taken during a meeting between Indian external Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Policy Sartaj Aziz,” sources added.
During the meeting, matters relating to further promote bilateral relations between the countries will be discussed.
