PM Nawaz Sharif to visit US on state tour in mid October
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the United States of America on state tour in the second week of October.
After inviting Chinese President on state tour, the American National Security Adviser Susan Rice conveyed the US president Obama’s invitation to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for state tour.
During the state tour, the prime minister will be giving 21 gun salute and guard of honour, while the national anthems of both the countries will also be played.
Nawaz Sharif is the first leader to be invited on state visit after 2003, when former president George W Bush invited former president Pervez Musharraf in Virginia’s Camo David on a state visit.
A country inviting any leader on state visit bears all the expenses itself.
