PM Shahid Abbasi says vote-buying senator cannot serve masses

MIANWALI (92 News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the person becoming the senator after purchasing the votes cannot serve the masses.

Talking to the media after inaugurating a gas supply project on Saturday, he said that they would oppose and defame the senator buying the votes.

“How can a party member having no vote in a provincial assembly become the senator?” he maintained.

The prime minister said that the politics of plunder will damage the politics of the country.

He said that said democracy is imperative to take the country forward. “The PML-N will return to power after the July 2018 general elections,” he said.

Shahid Abbasi said that the PML-N government started and completed unprecedented projects in different fields including road infrastructure, gas and power.

He said the government delivered despite all challenges, including political conspiracies.
