PM should resign for defaming country at international level: Shehbaz Sharif
LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has demanded that Prime Minister Imran Khan should resign for defaming the country at the international level and causing a loss of billions of rupees to the national institutions.
In a statement on Thursday, he said that the letter by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) DG had proved the prime minister, the cabinet and the minister concerned as liar. “Now the world will question the credibility of the report on which basis the claim was made,” he said.
He said that action should be taken against the prime minister and the minister concerned. “The prime minister is responsible for the loss of billions of rupees caused to the country,” he added.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the government, the prime minister and the minister are fake, not pilots. “Who will compensate for the financial losses caused to the PIA?”
He said that the statement had damaged the credibility and employment of overseas Pakistanis. “The ‘fake’ rulers defaming the country have taken away the peace of the nation. ‘Imposter’ rulers deserve severe punishment,” he added.
