PM takes party leaders into confidence over approval to remove Nawaz’s name from ECL
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan took the party leaders into confidence over the conditional approval to remove the name of former premier Nawaz Sharif from the exit control list (ECL).
During a meeting of the party leaders on Tuesday, the prime minister directed to fulfill all legal formalities to send former premier Nawaz Sharif abroad. “The health of Nawaz Sharif is not well and he should be allowed to go abroad conditionally,” he added.
The PTI leaders said that Nawaz Sharif should go abroad after submitting the surety bonds.
The meeting also discussed the government strategy to deal with the Plan B.
Meanwhile, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has finalized the Plan B and decided to close all main roads across the country while continuing the sit-in.
The plan was finalized during a meeting presided over by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday. All the provincial party ameers briefed Maulana Fazlur Rehman about the preparations for the Plan B.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman will announce the decisions while addressing the Azadi March participants.
Earlier addressing the participants of Azadi March on Monday, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that their struggle will continue for toppling the ‘illegal’ government.
He announced that the Azadi March participants will fight a battle against the government in each city after leaving the federal capital.
He said that the toppling of the ‘filthy’ government is the demand of their faith. “The nation will get rid of the illegal and imposed forces,” he said.
The JUI-F chief said that the country was created in the name of Islam. “Everyone should work within its jurisdiction. We want to establish friendship with the US, but refuse their slavery,” he said.
He opined that today the country’s budget is being prepared by the IMF. “Today foreign investment has ended. No one is ready to trust the government. Our mountains are full of wealth. Our forests and deserts have wealth,” he added.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said: “We will have to rely on our resources to unite the nation. Pakistanis have the ability to defeat the Israeli agents. Today the nation is on the same page. It is the demand of the nation that it does not accept the government of cruelty.” He claimed that the rulers have been trapped.
