PM to inaugurate Hazara Motorway today
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will inaugurate Havelian-Mansehra section of Hazara Motorway on Monday (today).
Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to reach Havelian today where a colourful inauguration ceremony will be held at the Havelian Interchange. It was also reported that the prime minister will also address the ceremony.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor, chief minister and Federal Minister for Communication Murad Saeed will participate in the event. However, the KP Assembly speaker including other provincial ministers will attend the ceremony.
It is pertinent to mention here that the motorway is part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. The Hazara Motorway project will serve as main route for Pakistan-China commercial traffic.
It shall directly benefit approximately seven million populations of Hasan Abdal, Haripur, Havelian, Abbottabad, Mansehra and Northern areas. The motorway will also greatly boost tourism as it will provide an access to Mansehra, Naran valley and Gilgit Baltistan.
