PML-F leader Nusrat Sahar Abbasi pardons provincial minister Imdad Pitafi
KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) leader and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Nusrat Sahar Abbasi has on Monday forgiven Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Imdad Ali Pitafi.
As the assembly proceedings started, PPP leader Imdad Pitafi apologized for his indecent remarks and put a ‘chaddar’ on PML-F leader’s head.
Earlier, talking to media outside the Sindh Assembly, she threatened to commit suicide if Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Imdad Ali Pitafi isn’t sacked as provincial minister in the next two days.
She demanded the PPP leadership to sack Imdad Ali Pitafi from the provincial assembly.
She brought a bottle of petrol among her and said she would self immolate if not given justice.
Previously, during the last assembly session, Pitafi called Nusrat Sahar Abbasi a “drama queen”. The remarks were made when Abbasi put a question to Pitafi during assembly proceedings, who responded with an invitation to Abbasi to visit his chamber for what he called “a satisfactory reply”.
Later, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had taken notice of the incident and directed Sindh provincial party head Nisar Khuhro to issue a show-cause notice to Sindh Works and Services Minister Imdad Pitafi for offending remarks towards a female legislator.
Bilawal had also directed Khuhro to take further action if Pitafi fails to defend himself adequately for made by against Nusrat Sehar Abbasi, a provincial legislator from Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F).
