PML-N nominates Shehbaz Sharif as PM candidate
LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has nominated party president Shehbaz Sharif as the candidate for premiership.
Talking to the media after the meeting on Monday, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that a white paper will be issued against the rigging in the elections soon.
She announced that protest will be staged against the rigging outside the ECP office on August 8.
She had strongly condemned the Chilas incident.
The PML-N spokesperson termed Imran Khan’s mandate fake and rigged. “The PML-N will make all facts public.”
She said that the PML-N with other parties will continue struggle. “The mandate was stolen in the elections. Incompetence and shortcomings of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) were exposed,” he said.
Marryium Aurangzeb said that the press freedom has been suppressed.
Meanwhile, Rana Liaquat Ali, an independent candidate elected from Sialkot, called on PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif and announced to join the party.
