PML-N, independent candidates gain upper hand in last phase of LB polls in Punjab

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and independent candidates gained the upper hand in the last phase of the local bodies elections in Punjab.

92 News has received complete and unofficial officials results of several municipal committees.

The PML-N candidates won in the Municipal Committee Kotli Sattian and Zahir Pir, while independent candidates dominated in Layyah, Ahmedpur Sial and Shujabad.

In Jhang, three sons of MNA Sheikh Akram won their seats.


In Multan, Amir Dogar achieved success, while Sheikh Rashid’s nephew son his seat in Rawalpindi.

However, the Awami Muslim League could win only 3-4 seat.
