PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal says 2020 is year of elections
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that 2020 is the year of elections.
Speaking at the first death anniversary of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz on Wednesday, he said that the PTI government had destroyed the economy in one year. “The coterie of conspirators will meet the fate worst than the PML-Q,” he said.
The PML-N leader said that the government had taken the loans of Rs10 billion. “The investors are fleeing from the country. Incompetent people can be happy by sitting in a car, but cannot drive it,” he added.
He said that the Quaid-e-Azam had achieved the country for the rule of the people. “The purpose to achieve the country was an economic revolution,” he added.
Ahsan Iqbal said that people were being left jobless. “Today the government has become risk for economy and solidarity,” he said. “We will have to compromise on our autonomy after two years if this demotion was not stopped.”
He urged the PML-N workers to defend their leader Nawaz Sharif so that the country be put on the path to progress. “The Arshad Malik video has shown that Nawaz Sharif was punished unjustifiably,” he said.
Ahsan Iqbal asks govt to resign over failed economic policies
On September 2, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has declared the economic policies of the government as a failure.
Addressing a press conference at National Press Club with Marriyum Aurangzeb and Sindh former governor Muhammad Zubair, he said that the government had failed in controlling the tax collection and current expenditures. “There is no example of economy falling every year across the world. The economy has entered the red zone in just one year,” he said.
The PML-N leaders said that at least two million people need jobs each year, but one million people have been left jobless. “We have heard that the government is closing its air space.
He said that the government is running the economy through a borrowed team. “The government claims a reduction in import, but now the State Bank of Pakistan has exposed the reality,” he said.
The PML-N leader said that the projects launched by the previous government had been stopped and now billions of extra rupees had to be spent to complete the projects. “The budget deficit has reached record low,” he said.
He said that people are standing with the Kashmiris. “Why has the PM not visited a friendly country? The foreign minister has not visited a single country except China,” he declared.
