PML-N prioritizes close relatives for women reserved seats
LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) awarded the party tickets to their close relatives for women reserved seats.
As per details garnered, former information minister Maryam Aurangzeb’s mother Tahira Aurangzeb on the first, the wife of Pervez Malik at the second and Maryam Aurangzeb was also included in the PML-N priority list.
Aisha Ghous, Tariq Fatemi and the wife of Khawaja Asif were also get the party tickets for contesting general election 2018. Zaib Jaffer, Miaza Hameed and the wife of Ishrat Ashraf also in the queue to get party tickets.
Earlier on Tuesday, the PML-N women workers, holding a demonstration outside the PML-N Model Town party office, chanted slogans for their right to the reserved seats saying the leadership should not have ‘obliged’ those who paid only lip service.
