PML-N’s Arbab Waseem wins PK-8 Peshawar by-polls

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Arbab Muhammad Waseem Khan has won PK-8 Peshawar by-elections.
According to unofficial results, PML-N candidate Arbab Muhammad Waseem Khan obtained 12,305 votes.
Pakistan People’s Party candidate stood second by securing more than 10,000 votes.
Earlier, the candidates belonging to the PPP and the PML-N claimed victory in the by-election.
Workers of the PPP and the PML-N celebrated the victory of their candidates in their offices. The PPP workers resorted to firing in jubilation, violating the section 144.
