PML-N’s power show in Mansehra today despite not getting permission
MANSEHRA (92 News) - The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) will hold rally in Mansehra today (Wednesday) despite not getting permission from the district administration.
According to the reports, the PML-N has rejected the administration’s refusal to grant it permission to hold a public meeting today and said it would go ahead with its plans for the event to be addressed by its central leaders, including vice-president Maryam Nawaz.
It is pertinent to mention here that following the recent surge in coronavirus cases across the country under a second wave of virus, the Mansehra district administration refused to grant permission to the PML-N to organise a public rally in the district.
Preparations are underway to decorate the venue for rally and Maryam Nawaz appealed to the people of Hazara for fully participating in the public gathering. She said that give another push to the falling wall.
A day earlier, the district administration said that the provincial government has banned public rallies in the province following a spike in novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases. PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz and others were scheduled to address the rally.
The provincial government has said that the second wave of the virus is more dangerous than the first one, with a sharper increase in new infections recorded already. Hence, all preventive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines need to be strictly followed.
