PM’s appearance before JIT: Welcome banners displayed in Red Zone
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has displayed hundreds of banners in the Red Zone ahead of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s appearance before the JIT on Thursday.
The PML-N has started preparations for the hearing of the JIT at Judicial Academy.
The banners displayed by former senator Abbas Khan Afridi carry the portraits of Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
Meanwhile, Minister for CAD Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Asif Kirmani and Pervaiz Rashid held a meeting, which was also participated by deputy mayors, UC chairmen and a large number of workers. All the UC chairmen have been asked to bring 1,000 workers with them.
On the other hand, stringent security arrangements have been made around the Judicial Academy.
SSP Operations Sajid Kiyani and Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Mushtaq reviewed security arrangements around the academy.
SSP Operations Sajid Kiyani said that government buildings and colleges adjacent to Judicial Academy will remain open, while walls of Judicial Academy are being raised.
Roads are being repaired, while cleanliness is being done around the Judicial Academy.
