Police sends letter to NA speaker for MQM lawmaker’s arrest

KARACHI (92 News) – Police have on Friday written a letter to National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for the arrest of Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Salman Mujahid Baloch.

“I will not appear before SSP Farooq Awan,” Aleena said, and demanded some other police officer should be assigned the probe.

In a latest development in alleged sexual assault case against the MQM lawmaker, the police has written a letter to the NA Speaker seeking Salman Mujahid’s arrest.

On the other hand, Aleena Khan, the alleged victim of sexual assault by the MQM lawmaker, expressed reservations over the appointment of SSP Investigations Farooq Awan to conduct investigations into the case.

In her letter to the media, she alleged that Salman Mujahid paid Rs 5 billion to get nationality of a foreign country.

She demanded the investigation institutions to and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to probe into the accounts of the MQM leader and his family members.


She further said that Salman Baloch used to sell medicines which he gets from the Parliament’s medical department.
