Polling underway in PP-16 Attock by-polls

ATTOCK (92 News) – Polling for by-polls in Punjab Assembly constituency PP-16-Attock has started under tight security arrangements.

The voting which began at 8am in the morning will continue till 5pm without any break.

A large number of people are will use their right to vote and security has been tightened at the polling stations, while walk through gates have been installed at the polling stations.

Talking to media, Jehangir Khanzada, son of martyred former Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzada, said that this is not just elections but this is the day to pay tribute to the martyred Shuja Khanzada. “I will complete all missions of my father,” he said.


The seat had fallen vacant after martyrdom of former Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada in a terror attack. Jehangir Khanzada of PML-N and Dr Naeem Awan Independent are in the arena.
