Polling underway in PP-23 by-polls

TALAGANG (92 News) – The polling for by-election in Punjab’s PP-23 Talagang is underway today (Tuesday), which will continue till 5 pm without any break.

Polling for by-election on Punjab Assembly seat PP-23 Talagang is underway and will continue 5pm without break.

As per details, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up 199 polling stations.

Security forces have been deputed in and out of the polling stations which will assist the district administration to maintain the law and order situation.


Eight candidates of different political parties are contesting the by-polls, however, a close contest is expected between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Malik Sheharyar Awan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Sultan Surkhru.
