PPP activist among three killed, several arrested in Karachi operation
KARACHI (92 News) – At least three people including Pakistan People’s Party worker were killed while 12 suspects including gang war operatives apprehended in different incidents on Wednesday.
As per details, some unidentified armed assailants opened firing in Orangi Bazar, killing PPP worker Abid Baloch on the spot and two others were killed in Orangi Town and Pak Colony, while a woman received bullet injures in Korangi Zia Colony.
Meanwhile, Police carried out a raid in Mahmoodabad, Orangi Town and MPR Colony and detained at least 33 suspects.
On the other hand, a government employee Adil Ansari was arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Lakhnow Society.
According to the CTD, the accused Adil was an activist of a political party and was facilitating RAW agents financially. The CTD also apprehended eight Lyari gang war activists.
