PPP announces to withdraw from reconciliatory politics
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced to withdraw the reconciliatory politics, saying that seat adjustment is possible with all parties except the N-League.
Talking to the media in Islamabad on Saturday, Sherry Rahman said that they had accepted the election results for the continuity of democracy. “We will not now accept the by-election under the controversial ECP members.”
People’s Lawyers Forum chief Latif Khosa said that they are announcing to participate in the by-election conditionally and it should not be considered the boycott.
Punjab PPP president Manzoor Wattoo said that he would resign when workers would ask him to do so. “PPP workers have demanded to give up the reconciliatory policy,” he said.
He said that they would make seat-to-seat adjustment with every political party except the N-League.
