PPP divided country by chanting slogan of ‘Idhar Hum, Udhar Tum’: MQM-P
KARACHI (92 News) – Mutahidda Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Bahadarabad Group leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had always been hostile towards Karachiites.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the PPP had divided the country into two parts by chanting the slogan of ‘Idhar hum, udhar tum’.
The MQM-P Bahadarabad Group leader said that now the PPP wants to create ‘Sindhu Desh’. “The people chanting the slogan of ‘roti, kapra aur makan’ gave the masses bullet, shroud and graveyard,” he maintained.
He said that they would respond to the hatred fomented by the PPP in Liaquatabad on May 5.
Siddiqi said that the PPP did not even try to win hearts. He said that he had hoped for an announcement of a medical college or some development package for the area but that did not happen. He said that let the elections come, Karachiites will make the incumbents accountable.
Khalid Maqbool asked rhetorically why the PPP had not held a rally in Lyari which had once elected PPP candidates. He accused the party of ruining the city.
