PPP, JI leaders scuffle in KP Assmebly
PESHAWAR (92 News) – The session of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly witnessed a rumpus on Thursday as the members of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Jamat-e-Islami (JI) exchanged blows.
The members tried to attack each other when PPP’s Sanaullah identified the quorum on the absence of opposition. At this, JI member Muhammad Ali criticized the PPP member which led to the rift.
Deputy Speaker Meher Taj Roghani adjourned the session over this scuffle.
Earlier, the opposition also staged a walkout in support of the women members over not getting the funds second time and a written reply of their questions.
