KARACHI (92 News) – Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza has on Tuesday said that only Sindh government has the authority to decide whether to keep the Rangers or to send it back.

Talking to media, Shehla Raza said that Rangers has not been deputed to any other province except Sindh but the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) never raised objection.

She said that the Rangers’ special powers will be extended after the executive orders passed.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Nusrat Sehar Abbasi declared the PPP’s role in Sindh a drama and said that the provincial government didn’t move the resolution pertaining to Rangers’ powers in four days. “There was not any need to deploy Rangers in Sindh if police could have done this,” she said.
