PPP, PML-N ready to give Senate deputy chairman seat to allies; Zardari phones Altaf

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are ready to give the slot of Senate deputy chairman to their allies.

The PPP has summoned a meeting of its political allies for consultation on Monday. Earlier, former president Asif Ali Zardari phoned MQM chief Altaf Hussain to exchange views on the Senate situation.

Meanwhile, the PML-Q and the JUI have also convened a meeting to discuss the situation.
