KARACHI (92 News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are at loggerheads regarding the venue of their rallies scheduled for May 12 in Karachi.

The PPP and the PTI have both announced that they will be holding a rally on May 12 at Hakeem Saeed Ground in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

They want to hold their rallies at Hakeem Saeed Ground in Karachi on May 12. The PPP has also written to the district commissioner seeking permission for holding the rally at the Hakeem Saeed Ground. PTI leaders will visit Deputy Commissioner to seek permission letter.

PPP Senator Saeed Ghani took to Twitter and said the PTI had earlier announced that they will hold a rally at Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum.

Further, PTI’s Khurram Sher Zaman said they will hold their rally at Hakeem Ground on May 12 at any cost. “PPP is using force to suppress political activities,” the PTI leader added.
