PPP re-contacted Uzair Baloch after 2012 operation, Habib Jan discloses in interview
KARACHI (92 News) – Habib Jan, a close aide of Uzair Baloch, has disclosed that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had re-contacted Uzair Baloch after the 2012 operation.
In an interview released by Federal Minister for Maritime Ali Zaidi on the social media on Saturday, Habib Jan said that Uzair Baloch had rejoined the PPP after getting Rs 50 million. “Sindh former chief minister Qaim Ali Shah, Faryal Talpur and Sharmeela Farooqui went to Uzair Baloch. Moreover, Asif Zardari had also held a meeting with Uzair Baloch,” he said.
He said that his brother was martyred in an attack carried out on the office of Uzair Baloch.
Habib Jan said that a rift was developed between them with the entry of Muzaffar Tappi. “Uzair Baloch’s relations with the PPP estranged when the government was in jeopardy,” he disclosed.
He said that even IGPs were transferred at the behest of Uzair Baloch. “The Interior Ministry was standing at the door of Uzair Baloch in the form of Rehman Malik,” he added.
