KARACHI (92 News) – Taking a U-turn from his earlier statement, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has on Tuesday said that the PPP is standing alongside the Pakistan Army.

The PPP co-chairman said that Pakistan has been facing problems for over the years, adding that the peace and security of the country are at risk from internal and external enemies.

Commenting on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s statement that he will not take extension, the former president termed the decision of the COAS Gen Raheel Sharif premature.
