PPP to launch countrywide protest movement in case of Zardari’s arrest
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on Wednesday decided to give tough time to the government in case of the arrest of former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the sources, the decision was taken in an important meeting of the party leadership with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in chair.
In the PPP’s consultative meeting, the PPP decided to launch a countrywide protest movement in case of the arrest of Asif Ali Zardari. It was proposed that Sanam Bhutto is likely to lead the protest movement.
The sources also said that the party’s senior leaders have also proposed to move no-confidence motion against the government.
The meeting also decided to hold consultation with other political parties in this regard.
