PPP wants continuation of democratic process: Khurshid Shah
LAHORE (92 News) – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) wants continuation of democratic process and timely conduct of next polls.
Talking to media persons in Lahore today (Friday), he said that the incumbent government must complete its tenure, adding that there should not be revenge in politics.
The opposition leader said that it is discretion of parties to hold protests and sit-ins but these should not disrupt the life of common man.
Commenting on the statement of Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Shah said that he didn’t find it obnoxious to which the Inter-Services Intelligence Director General reacted strongly.
There was nothing in the minister’s statement to warrant an immediate and such a big reaction from ISPR, he added.
