PPP will issue a white paper on ongoing political engineering in country: Bilawal
LONDON (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the power is being transferred in a democratic way for the third time in the country.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that the peaceful transfer of power is a success. “It becomes difficult the return of dictatorial rule if a government is changed through the elections,” he said.
The PPP chairman said that the PPP will present the white paper on objections to the election.
He said that he was ready to face the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). “A new institution should be constituted after closing the NAB which should hold each citizen accountable,” he said.
Bilawal Bhutto said that he objected to sending each case to the NAB. Reciting the Kalma, he said that he had never done corruption. “Whatever being done with me in courts for last six-seven months is injustice. Law should be equal for everyone. The NAB was constituted for political; engineering,” he said.
To a question by 92 News that why the PPP did not formed an institution for accountability, he said that they had not formed a powerful institution due to the PML-N.
He said that the PPP had tried to conduct transparent elections and would continue to do so. “The PPP leadership had rendered sacrifices for democracy,” he said.
