PPP women’s counterattack against Mirza
KARACHI (92 News) – The women wing of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Sunday aggressively responded to former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza’s allegations against the PPP leadership.
Addressing a joint press conference through party media cell, Shehla Raza, Sharmila Farooqui and Rubina Qaimkhani defended former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur against the allegations levelled by Zulfiqar Mirza.
Sindh Assembly’s deputy speaker Shehla Raza said that Mirza had no political stature and he should refrain from mudslinging on PPP’s leadership.
She said that keeping mustaches is not a criterion of proving one’s masculinity and brave men don’t disrespect the women.
Speaking on this occasion, Sharmila said that PPP would soon give a befitting response against Zulfiqar Mirza’s allegations.
“Mirza would have been without clothes if Asif Zardari did not support him,” said Sharmila.
