PPP’s mandate snatched in all elections through rigging: Asif Ali Zardari
KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairperson and former president Asif Ali Zardari alleged on Sunday that his party’s mandate has been stolen in all general elections through rigging.
Addressing a public gathering in Liyari’s Kikri ground, Zardari said he will hold the party flag until Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Bhutto Zardari join politics.
He vowed to restore peace in Liyari and announced a package of Rs 1 billion for development works in the area.
Asif Ali Zardari said people of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should not be deprived in Pakistan-China economic investments.
The PPP co-chairperson said he has already started his journey for the next general elections and also vowed that his next public gatherings will be held in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
He grilled the Indian government and said it should stop hurting people of Indian-Held Kashmir (IHK).
Tight security arrangements were made for the gathering with containers blocking all main routes leading to the Kikri ground. As many as 12,000 police officials including women commandos were also deployed to provide fool-proof security.
